December 1st  -  Letter Box

I have searched my archives and I can't find a letter box anywhere so am having to cheat....
I love to see the original ideas our wild birds have when choosing a nesting site to safely rear their young.

      Birds certainly do like to choose original homes for their nest. This would have been very secure too.

    Love the idea of the postie sticking up that sign - wonder if it is a peculiarly 'English' thing or do notes appear like that elsewhere in the world?

      Birds don't seem to bother where they nest - saw a picture of a nest in a traffic light a few years back.
