Julie's Advent Calendar for 2016

18th December, 2016

Today we put up our tree.  It's not quite finished as this year we decided to move some furniture around first.  As usual that sort of thing took longer than I anticipated.  So although the lights and most of the baubles are on I still have quite a bit to do.  So I have put this picture on that I pinched off Clip art. We have not had snow yet and have not been promised a white Christmas so this snowman is just wistful thinking!

Actually, to tell the truth, I am just waffling on, the tree is not finished as everything stopped so I could watch Strictly Come Dancing** final on TV.
** It's known as  Dancing with the Stars outside the UK.  Will do better tomorrow.

  2. Don't worry about doing better tomorrow. I'm enjoying reading the calendars, although I keep getting behind myself & definitely not crafting, but ah well, I have all my numbers now, with some spares for next year if I want them. Take care.

    1. I am still behind, but what the heck. Have to get up early tomorrow as Hawthorn and eldest are coming round at 9 for a brew after dropping youngest off at work so I will have far more hours in the day than usual. It is these dark mornings that I find confusing.

    1. I did thank you, it was terrific. I did not mind who won, so was happy with the result.

  4. Thankyou for your lovely comment on my Header. I think that little dog is the best thing I have ever worked in crochet, he turned out really well.
As for the work room, since all of the kids left we have spare rooms but before that I was like you having to keep clearing up.
    Have a lovely christmas

  5. Love the clip art tree! At least there will be no puddles or pine needles on the floor...
